CAPTAIN PAUL WATSON “SOS” CANNES SPECIAL EVENT
With celebrity guest Michelle Rodriguez – Paul Watson continues to stop the destruction of habitat and the slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans and conserve and protect ecosystems and species everywhere.
Apparently the tuna fish killers at Fish and Fish are not happy losers. This was a quote today in the Malta Times from John Refalo of Fish and Fish: “One way or another we will get him , it will just take more money…”
Oh well just another enemy to deal with in a long line of enemies. Let me see: we are on the enemies`s list of the Japanese, Icelandic, Faeroese whalers, the Canadian and Namibia sealers, the Japanese dolphin killers, the Maltese tuna poachers, The Costa Rican shark finners, the Fijian shark killers, and numerous other nefarious exploiters of our oceans. Oh and of course Greenpeace, who want to see us shut down also.
Thankfully we have the support of thousands of people worldwide who want to see our oceans defended and the cruelty and the slaughter ended.
I remain in Germany as a prisoner. The Brigitte Bardot and her crew are actively campaigning in the South Pacific. The Steve Irwin is being readied in Williamstown for a campaign this week with the announcement forthcoming tomorrow. The Bob Barker is in Sydney, Australia. Sea Shepherd Galapagos is pursuing the conviction of a wildlife smuggler that the Sea Shepherd supplied canine unit captured last week. The Cove Guardians are being readied for their return to Taiji, Japan. And Sea Shepherd supporters all over the world are working hard to support and carry out our campaigns on land and sea.
Under pressure we persevere, under stress we strive forward, under attack we stand our ground and in the name of our clients we confront our enemies face to face in the most remote and hostile corners of the world in our effort to eradicate slaughter and cruelty and to defend, protect, and conserve biodiversity in our ocean.
As for enemies, if we did not have any, it would simply mean that we had did nothing. The more we accomplish the more enemies we will cultivate. Thus the more enemies we recruit the more victories we will achieve.
