STAR-STUDDED BLACK TIE GALA CELEBRATES THE TALENT AT THIS YEARS TEMECULA VALLEY INTERNATIONAL FILM & MUSIC FESTIVAL
September 19th at Pechanga Resort & Casino

The 16th Annual Temecula Valley 5 day International Film & Music Festival came to a star-studded close with this year’s Black Tie Gala. From the red carpet, guests entered the Pechanga Resort and Casino’s Grand Ballroom for a night of award presentations, delectable food and drinks, and an amazing, impromptu live performance by Kenny Loggins featuring music producer David Foster on piano.

TVIFF honorees:
-Career Achievement in Acting Award: Eric Roberts (The Expendables, The Dark Knight) presented by wrestler/actor Stone Cold Steve Austin.
-Outstanding Career Achievement Award in Music: Kenny Loggins (Grammy Award winning musician/songwriter) presented by Grammy Award winning music producer David Foster.
-Icon Award: Raquel Welch (film icon) presented by Temecula Mayor Jeff Comerchero.
-Academic Excellence in the Arts: San Diego State University School of Theatre, Television and Film

The Temecula Film Festival Audience Award Winners included:
Best Feature Film: Listen To Your Heart written, produced, starring Kent Moran
Best Short Film (tie): A Son’s War written, directed, and produced by Steven Edell
The Butterfly Circus written, directed by Joshua Weigle and Rebekah Weigle
Best Animation: Let’s Pollute written, directed, and produced by Geefwee Boedoe
Best Documentary: 9000 Needles produced and directed by Doug Dearth
MusicFest First Place: Ben Baxter
MusicFest Runner Up: The Adam Lasher Band
